We're looking for a DevOps Engineer / Cloud Engineer to help ensure these applications run securely, reliably, and efficiently in the cloud.

In this role, you'll work with engineering teams to automate deployments, manage cloud infrastructure, strengthen monitoring and security and support the availability of business-critical retail systems.

From building CI/CD pipelines and managing Kubernetes environments to implementing disaster recovery and zero-downtime deployments, you'll play an important role in keeping enterprise applications running at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure & Deployments

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Nextuple products
Perform planned deployments using Blue-Green strategy with Zero downtime
Deploy Emergency hot fixes as and when required
Use best practices in DevOps for build, deploy and monitoring in a cost-effectivetive manner

Monitoring, Security & Reliability

Build effective monitoring and alerts for the Production and non-productions deployments of Nextuple products
Perform routine security patching of the OS, VMs and other software components
Ensure that the Disaster Recovery Plan is up-to-date and orchestrate periodic DR testing
Perform automatic backup / restore of production database

Qualifications & Skills

Experience & Education

Experience in GCP is must
Has familiarity with the retail industry / domain is a must
Minimum 2 years of DevOps experience, preferably in a Software product company.
Graduate or Postgraduate in Engineering / Computer Applications

Technical Skills & Technologies

Knowledge of Jenkins, Azure DevOps or BitBucket Pipelines
Knowledge of Containerization using Docker and Container orchestration using Kubernetes
Excellent command over Source Configuration Management tools like GitHub, BitBucket, GitLab etc.
Exposure to Security hardening best practices like CIS benchmarks, IDS, IPS, Antivirus, Security patching, Network configuration et al.
Knowledge of SonarQube or similar tools for static code scanning
Exposure to security hardening of the computing & networking infrastructure
Exposure to maintaining infrastructure components in a multi data center setup.

Has the ability to work in a lightweight process environment
Is self-motivated and capable of high performance in a periodic iteration cadence

Having some or all the following certifications will be an added advantage for DevOps Engineer role at Nextuple.
